Google discontinued the customer reimbursement program tied to the old Google Guaranteed badge on November 7, 2025. The blue Verified badge confirms credibility, not refunds. Your reputation and review profile carry the trust now, which is why we focus heavily on review velocity.
05: The Pitfalls
LSAs work, but they punish bad setup. Six things tank ROI more than anything else. Every one of them is fixable, and every one of them is something we manage so you don't have to think about it.
A service area set too wide pulls in leads you can't profitably serve. Google no longer credits you for jobs outside your wheelhouse. Tight, accurate geo settings are how you protect your budget.

Since July 2025, your GBP review score, review volume, and review recency directly control your LSA ranking. A neglected GBP means a buried LSA.

Recommended starting weekly budget: $150 to $400 CAD. Most clients scale to $800 to $5,000 per month based on their lead capacity.
